Deel, PLLC.  The firm provides contract legal services to large, medium, small law firms and solo practitioners in the area of family law.  In this economic climate, law firms and solo practitioners are being challenged to reduce fees, while providing a consistent level of customer service and quality legal services.  In short, lawyers are expected to do more for less.  In many cases, firms are forced to cut staff and other expenses without cutting the workload.  Melinda N. Experience

There are very few attorneys with the broad and distinguished experience of Melinda Deel.  In law school, Melinda clerked for the U.S. Attorneys Office in Lansing, assisting in the prosecution of drug crimes and medicaid fraud.  Following law school, Melinda formed her own law practice.  She was later joined by her husband and formed Deel & Deel, PLLC.  In 2007, Melinda was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Oakland County Bar Association.  The same year, she was appointed the Judicial Staff Attorney for the Honorable Martha D. Anderson, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge.  In 2009, Melinda resigned her position to spend time with her twin sons and resumed solo practice.

Melinda has 8 years experience in family law.  During that time, she has the unique perspective of having practiced on both sides of the bench.  She knows what judges are looking for: civility, honesty and a well-researched position.  Melinda knows how to address the issues in such a manner to make the maximum impact on the judge.

Efficiency

We recognize that the firms and attorneys that utilize our services have busy practices and are short on time.  Our mission is to handle our clients’ matters efficiently.  To that end, this web site has been designed to enable our clients to submit their matters and projects online and view and pay bills online.  This way, you are not bound to the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to submit your projects to us.  You can submit your projects to us from your computer at your office, home or on the road.  For example, suppose you are on vacation and opposing counsel serves you with a motion.  You can upload your case on our web site from the hotel lobby or your laptop in your hotel room and enjoy the rest of your vacation knowing your matter is in good hands.  Not tech savvy?  We can work with you on a low tech basis as well.
